If you are a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, you may be eligible to sponsor your spouse, partner, same-sex partner, or dependent children to become permanent residents of Canada. Eligibility requirements for this program are as follows.
Be 18 years of age or older.
Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
You cannot be receiving social assistance.
Promise to financially take care of the family members being sponsored for a period of 5 years after they become a PR in Canada.
Parents And Grandparents Sponsorship
If you are a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, you may be eligible to sponsor your parents or grandparents to become permanent residents of Canada.
Be 18 years of age or older.

Provide three years’ proof of income to demonstrate enough income to support your family, including the sponsored members.
